Biography

Professor Edison D. Pajibo is Professor of Education and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Margibi University in Liberia. He is also a Research Fellow at the Institute for Educational Research and Innovation Studies (IERIS) at the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana. He received his PhD from the University of Ghana in 2011. His academic and professional work spans adult education, educational policy, higher-education leadership, institutional development, graduate research supervision, peacebuilding and the reconstruction of institutions in post-conflict societies. In addition to his work at the University of Education, Winneba, Professor Pajibo has taught at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University of Ghana. He is also involved in the supervision of both master's and doctoral research, reflecting his continuing contribution to postgraduate education and the development of emerging scholars. Professor Pajibo has reported a record of 54 peer-reviewed publications, comprising 26 local and 28 international publications. His scholarship and academic service bring together educational research, university leadership and an enduring interest in strengthening higher education and research capacity in Africa. In Liberia, he contributes directly to university leadership and academic development through his role at Margibi University. His experience is particularly relevant to LAS priorities in higher-education development, research capacity, educational leadership, graduate supervision, institutional strengthening and the mentoring of young Liberian scholars.
